Artist Statement

Creating is a necessity for me. My love for nature and gardening comes through in my work, as does my obsession with color play. I am passionate about harnessing beauty from the world around me and hope that my depictions can also bring others joy. I work in oil paint and linocut printmaking, often merging the two. In the past few years I have delved into mural work. I am fascinated by the power of art on a larger scale and how it can transform a space and engage an audience.
